Professor Thomas J. McCarthy will receive the Award for Outstanding Accomplishments in Research and Creative Activity at the 2008 UMass Amherst Faculty Convocation on Friday, September 12, 2008, at 11:00 in Bowker Auditorium. This is the fourth year the Chancellor and Provost will grant these awards.
