Polymer Science and Engineering graduate students Damla Koylu and Shilpi Sanghi were each recipients of prestigious Eugene M. Isenberg Awards. Mr. Isenberg, alumnus of the School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and CEO of Nabors Industries, Inc., established these competitive awards to aid University of Massachusetts graduate students who demonstrate academic merit and a commitment to the integration of science, engineering and management. Mr. Isenberg has helped to support the education of many students and the development of a curriculum for this integration. Damla and Shilpi will each receive $10,000 to support their research and allow them to take coursework in management.
