For most of my life, I lived and studied in Massachusetts. I received my B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2016 and graduated from PSE in Spring 2021.

I gravitated towards UMass PSE due to the research atmosphere - the open collaboration that occurred on a daily basis. Everyone was always willing to talk about the possibilities and entertained all of the what-ifs. By simply visiting different floors within the building, I was able to engage in fruitful conversations with other students which expanded my knowledge.

During my time at PSE, I was in the Coughlin research group working on a project in collaboration with NIST regarding cellulose nanocrystals to study the fundamental structure-property relationships of polymer dynamics at the interface. Besides research, I was also involved in Mentoring Committees and volunteered my time in outreach programs.

I’m currently a Scientist working in the Altuglas team at Trinseo, located in King of Prussia, PA. I actively tap into my polymer science knowledge to solve problems at work. Despite living in a different state, I have gotten in touch with alumni within the area and received support from them. No matter where PSE graduates are, there is an invisible tie that connects us together.
