Kenneth Carter will be presented with a POLY Distinguished Service Award at the 2015 Fall ACS National Meeting on Wednesday, August 19th, 2015. 

Carter has actively served the Division for over 22 years, beginning his service to the Polymer Division in 1993 where he served Publicity Chair and later was Membership Committee Chair. He was elected for two term as Member-at-Large (1998-2002). In 2002 Carter was elected Chair of the Division and started his 4-year term (Chair Elect/Vice Chair/Chair/Past Chair). Carter contributed to membership activities, Division publications and built new bridges to NOBCChE. Since 2012 Carter has served as the Co-Chair of the POLY Awards committee.
