A paper entitled "Relating the Degree of Nanofiller Functionality to the Glass Transition Temperature and Structure in a Polymer–Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxane Nanocomposite" was recently published in Macromolecules by Walter W. Young*, Rui Shi, Xiang-Meng Jia, Hu-Jun Qian and Reika Katsumata*. Through experiment and simulation, the glass transition temperature of a polymer loaded with very small fillers is shown to increase approximately linearly with nanofiller functionality.
