Congrats to recent graduate Daria Atkinson - named a Provost Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania.  This competitive program “seek(s) to attract promising researchers and educators from different backgrounds, races, ethnic groups, and other diverse populations whose life experiences, research experiences and employment backgrounds will contribute significantly to their academic missions.”  Dr. Atkinson is joining the Department of Physics and Astronomy where she will explore and develop theoretical new frameworks that exploit geometry to understand and design complex structures and functions of soft materials.
