Professor Krystyn Van Vliet from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology will be lecturing on Friday, November 9, 2007.  Professor Vliet will be hosted by Professor Al Crosby.  Her lecture titled, "Mapping Mechanics of Synthetic and Biological Polymer Surfaces," will begin at 3:30 PM in Conte A110.  Refreshments will be served prior to the lecture.  This event is open to the public.  All are encouraged to attend.
