PSE50 Reunion, UMass Amherst May 12-13, 2016

 

In May 2016, PSE is welcoming back all former students, postdocs, staff, faculty and affiliates of the department to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the program. The 2-day reunion event will provide an opportunity to reflect on the the half-century history of PSE and the significant impact of the program through the accomplishments of its over 700 alumni. As the first ever PSE reunion, this event will bring alumni and friends of PSE back to campus to reconnect with another as well as the current generation of PSE students, staff and faculty. From the North From I-91 South, take exit 25 in Deerfield. At the end of the ramp, turn left and follow road to the intersection. Turn right onto Routes 5 & 10 South. Go 1 mile, then turn left onto Route 116 South for 6.6 miles. Turn left onto Meadow St. 9. Turn right onto N Pleasant St for 1 mile. At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto Governors Dr. for .3 miles The Conte building will be on the left.

From the South From I-91 North, take Exit 19 in Northampton. From the exit ramp, turn right onto Route 9. Travel Approximately 4.5 miles to Route 116 North (turn left at traffic lights). Take the exit toward UMass/Amherst. Turn right onto N Hadley Rd. Continue onto Massachusetts Ave. Turn left onto Commonwealth Ave. Continue onto Governors Drive for .4 miles. The Conte building will be on the right.

*East or West From I-90 (Mass Pike) Take exit 4 (West Springfield). Follow I-91 North to Exit 19. From the exit ramp, turn right onto Route 9. Travel approximately 4.5 miles to Route 116 North (turn left at traffic lights). ). Take the exit toward UMass/Amherst. Turn right onto N Hadley Rd. Continue onto Massachusetts Ave. Turn left onto Commonwealth Ave. Continue onto Governors Drive for .4 miles. The Conte building will be on the right. (Signs will be displayed pointing to the campus center garage for PSE50 Events.)

Parking - For Thursday and Friday events, attendees should park in the Campus Center Garage.  You will not need a pass to enter the garage, but will need a ticket to exit.  Parking passes (needed for exit from the garage) will be given at the check-in/information desks on Thursday and Friday events.

*If you are a first time visitor and traveling from the West on I-90 (Mass Pike), we do not recommend taking exit 8 off of the Mass Pike, rather follow the directions to exit 4 as explained above.
