Driving Directions to UMass Amherst:
From the North:
Route 91 South to Exit 25; At the end of the ramp turn left and follow
the road to
the intersection; turn right onto Routes 5 and 10 South; go 1 mile,
then left onto
Route 116 South, then 8 miles to UMass Exit; Left at the end of the
ramp onto
Massachusetts Avenue
From the South:
Route 91 North to Exit 19 (Northampton/Amherst); Right onto Route 9 and
go
approximately 4.5 miles to Route 116 North (left turn at the lights) 1
mile to
UMass Exit; Right at the end of the ramp onto Massachusetts Avenue
From the East:
Mass Pike (Route 90) West to Exit 4 (West Springfield) onto Route 91
North to
Exit 19 (Northampton/Amherst); Right onto Route 9 and go approximately
4.5 miles
to Route 116 North (left turn at the lights) 1 mile to UMass Exit;
Right at the
end of the ramp onto Massachusetts Avenue
From the West:
Mass Pike (Route 90) East to Exit 4 (West Springfield) onto Route 91
North to

Driving Directions to the Campus Center Parking Garage:
From Massachusetts Avenue (after
exiting from Route 116):
At the second set of lights turn left onto Commonwealth Avenue; Boyden
Gymnasium
is on the corner of Commonwealth and Massachusetts Avenue; At the next
set of
lights turn right onto Campus Center Way and proceed up Campus Center
Way; The
entrance to the Campus Center Parking Garage is at the top of the hill
on the
right.
Getting to Parking Lot #31* and
the Conte Center for Polymer Research:
From Massachusetts Avenue (after exiting from Route 116) At the second
set of
lights turn left onto Commonwealth Avenue; Boyden Gymnasium is on the
corner of
Commonwealth and Massachusetts Avenue; Continue down Commonwealth Ave;
Go through the flashing lights. Commonwealth Ave. turns into Governor's
Drive as it curves to the right. Watch for a sign on your left for
Parking Lot #31. The Conte Center is the huge grey & glass building
southeast of the parking lot. The Conte Center is next to the Lederle
Graduate Research Center.

Please let us know that you will be visiting the Center for UMass /
Industry Research on Polymers and we will gladly provide you with a
one-day permit for Lot #31.
The campus parking garage fee, effective September 1st, 2004, is as
follows:
- From 5am until 5pm, the rate is $1.50 per hour.
- From 5pm until 5am, the rate is:
- $1.50 for the first hour
- $3.00 maximum for additional hours
- The maximum fee for parking between 5pm and 5am is $3.00. At 5am,
the normal rate of $1.50 per hour resumes.
- The maximum fee for a day is $20.00.
- There is a maximum grace time of 15 minutes.
Regrettably, we can not validate tickets for those parking in the
Campus Center Garage.
