The workshop will be held at the Harrah’s Lake Tahoe. Reservations for the event should be made directly with Harrah’s by calling 1-800-455-4770 requesting the GROUP CODE S11ACS (ACS Division of Polymer Chemistry) rate of $109.00 USD single/double occupancy per night plus applicable taxes (Friday/Saturday rates are $199.00 USD per night). Please make sure you register before October 12, 2007 to ensure the conference rate.

Harrah’s Lake Tahoe is serviced by Reno Tahoe International Airport, where over a hundred flights from major US cities land daily. From the airport, Harrah’s Lake Tahoe is a scenic hour ride via limousine or regularly scheduled coach (55 miles). Travelers can obtain airport shuttle service through South Tahoe Express www.southtahoeexpress.com (an estimated $42.00 round trip). The resort is easily reached via all-weather Highway 50 from Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area.
